upgrade for that price.

for each year to convert? or just once?
<[tom] CBM-PRESS> I would convert one year and grab the $29 price for teh other
year.

<[tom] CBM-PRESS> More than likely it will go up then.
<[Jim] J.DEARDEN> How would that work? Get a refund for 12 issues and apply
that to the second year?

<[tom] CBM-PRESS> They'll figure how much you actually have due you.
<[tom] CBM-PRESS> Take all that in disks if you like and see how long it works
out to being.
<[Jim] J.DEARDEN> Also, I'd like to nag a bit about prices :-) I live in
Canada, and will have to pay 12.75 extra a year, while forign sub are only
10.00 extra!

<ALBERTO.VO5> Tom, do you suppose you will lose a lot of business with this new
idea?

or whatever.

<S.EYRSE> Tom couldn't Jim just convert all to disk and then get a EXTRA cheap
year disk for the $30..;].And what would NAFTA do?

grab the cheap price too.
<S.EYRSE> How many sub. to the gaz. with disk NOW?
<[tom] CBM-PRESS> Do you have any friends in the States who will subscribe for
you? I think part has to do with the exchange rate.

be, minus

tried before,
<C128.JBEE> will they be buried in the text as gifs, geopaints, etc? or all
text?
<[tom] CBM-PRESS> Nothing to type in so go for teh big stuff.  :)
<[tom] CBM-PRESS> Well, so far, the text is what you'd see in the mag. No fluff.
<[tom] CBM-PRESS> Ads aren't that big either. darn it.
<[tom] CBM-PRESS> We have some ads that are runnable programs, some are
straight text, some are text/graphics.
<[tom] CBM-PRESS> Advertisers can design their own ads now.

<[tom] CBM-PRESS> We have them all accessable via a menu.

<[tom] CBM-PRESS> Well, Compute hasn't been on the newstand here in the states
for years.
<[tom] CBM-PRESS> I know that printed ads are easier for most companies because
trhey are used to them.
<[tom] CBM-PRESS> But we still are reaching a good number of active 8-bitters. 
They are the customers.

29.99, Foreign is $39.95 and Canada is $42.75. All funds to be pain in US$. You
might be losing some subs in

Disk pub outfit going into hard copy. :) Will the

have print drivers for most type of files.?

print.
<[tom] CBM-PRESS> But teh files are SpeedScript compatible.
