Be sure to check out the GEOS sections in the GEnie Commodore File Library. Here's some direct links to each section:

GEOSApps - Applications
GEOSArts - Graphics related
GEOSDeskAcc - Desk Accessories
GEOSDrivers - Mouse and printer drivers
GEOSFonts - Fonts

If you would prefer to avoid downloading and setting up all the individual files found on the preceding pages, you can grab GEOS already pre-packaged in disk images here. You might still find it useful to read the preceding tutorial pages as you can learn some of the fundamentals of getting started with GEOS. All of the individual files you'll find on the preceeding pages are contained in these disk image archives except for the printer drivers. There are only 3 printer drivers in these sets. Once you get GEOS up and running, come back and download whichever printer driver you think you might need. There's really no point in having every single printer driver on your disks as it might just add to confusion.

PLEASE NOTE: As with the GEOS files on the preceeding pages, these disk image files MAY NOT be redistributed in any form. They are being made available for free downloading for your own use. If you have a friend that needs GEOS but lacks the ability to download these files, you may do so for that person provided you supply them on disk at no charge.

Simply choose the system you want, GEOS 64 or GEOS 128 (or both), and choose the disk image format you prefer, D64 or D81, and then download the set(s) you need from the 4 selections below.

1541 BOOT DISKS
GEOS 64 (379K) - This zip file contains 4 D64 disk images with a GEOS 64 boot disk, the applications disk containing geoWrite and geoPaint, plus two other disks containing other applications and desk accessories. Also included is a "Read Me" text file.
GEOS 128 (333K) - This zip file contains 4 D64 disk images with a GEOS 128 boot disk, the applications disk containing geoWrite and geoPaint, plus two other disks containing other applications and desk accessories. Also included is a "Read Me" text file.

1581 BOOT DISKS
GEOS 128 (329K) - This zip file contains a single D81 disk image with all the files found in the 4 D64 disk images above. Also included is a "Read Me" text file.
GEOS 64 (312K) - This zip file contains a single D81 disk image with all the files found in the 4 D64 disk images above. Also included is a "Read Me" text file.

BOOT DISKS FOR 64HDD USERS
GEOS 64HDD (172K) - This is a single D64 file. Begin by downloading the 1541 BOOT disk set for GEOS 64 listed above and replace the main boot disk with this one if you use the 64HDD system. Use this D64 if you have set up 64HDD on a slower machine such as a 386.

GATEWAY 64 and 128
gateWay 64 (172K) - This is a single D64 file. This is the complete gateWay 64 V2.5 disk.
gateWay 128 (172K) - This is a single D64 file. This is the complete gateWay 128 V2.5 disk.
gateWay Documentation (125K) - this is a geoWrite file containing the documentation for gateWay. Use Convert 2.5 to convert this into GEOS format.

Note: The complete source code for the unreleased gateWay V2.6 is available.

GEOWRITE UTILITY for Windows
GeoWriteImport (212K) - If you'd like a handy utility for viewing geoWrite files from within Windows, download this utility. It's a simple file, no installation required, just copy it to any directory you'd like on your Windows system and double click it's icon to start it. With this program, you can either view a geoWrite file onscreen, or you can convert it to an MS-DOS type text file that can be imported into any wordprocessor on your Windows machine. Check the drop down menus and you'll figure out how to switch between the two modes. The program expects the geoWrite file to be in .CVT format. When it imports a file, it will use the same filename but with a .TXT extension. It has a limit on how large a file it can load and display onscreen. For instance, the gateWay documentation is too large to view, but it can import it into a .txt file with no problem.

GEOWRITE UTILITY for the Amiga
GeoWriteImport (5K) - Here's a similar program to the one above for the Amiga except it can't view onscreen, it can only import to text files. This .lha archive also includes documentation. Check out the difference in size between this and the Windows version. Hmmm...tells you something about Windows bloat, doesn't it? ReqTools is required on your Amiga to run this program. If you don't have it, you should be able to find it on the Internet.

[THE REST OF THIS PAGE IS STILL IN THE WORKS - CHECK BACK LATER]

[THERE WILL BE SOME OTHER USEFUL UTILITIES AND GOODIES ADDED HERE]
